Chatter: Burning the Quran

Chaos spread across Afghanistan last month when it was revealed that Qurans were being burned at a US military base in Bagram. So far, dozens of people have been killed and hundreds injured protesting the burnings.

As Islam’s holy book, the Quran is read by Muslims all across the world daily. The book contains 114 chapters and tens of thousands of words. (Amer Taleb)
