Ready with a $100 and nearly 100 pounds of food, Muslim children stopped by Southern Arizona’s Community Food Bank to pass along the donations they collected through the Islamic Center of Tucson’s “Muslim Kids Care Too” program last month. The Food Bank distributed more than 220 million pounds of food from 1995-2010, according to its website.

The kids’ next project will be raising funds for children with a cleft lip, a birth defect thousands of U.S children are born with every year.
