Question of the Day, August 2nd 2011: What should the Daily Wildcat’s Ramadan article be focused on?

Insha Allah, I’ll be writing the Daily Wildcat’s story about Ramadan.

Please suggest sources and story angles for the article. The only requirement is that this story has to be relateable  to the University of Arizona. All ideas must be sent by tonight for consideration. Thank you.

  1. The interactions between the Muslims and non-Muslims on campus during Ramadan. Students & non-students. Example, has any one ever talked to the guard at the bank parking lot during Ramadan? What has been his impression, seeing more attendance on Fridays during Ramadan or not?

What about the frat house across the street from the ICT? Has anyone ever talked to them about the increase in activity during Ramadan?

History: When the old ICT was at the (now) apt. complex, a frat house was across the street there too. ICT boys attending iftar/tarweeh back then had ice cube throwing contests with the frat boys.
