12th Annual Southwest Graduate Conference in Middle Eastern and North African Studies at the University of Arizona

The conference runs this Wednesday through Friday at the University of Arizona. At almost every hour of the day, there’ll be an event going on and the topics will range from the “Historiography of Modern Lebanon” to “Early Islamic Cosmology and Qur’anic Interpretation.”
The conference will finish Friday night with a keynote lecture by esteemed Columbia University professor, Hamid Dabashi, entitled “Osama Bin Laden Does Not Live Here Anymore.”
